This Privacy Policy describes the personal information that may be collected and processed by us, what we use your personal information for, when we collect your information, how we might use and disclose your personal information, and the choices you can make about your personal information when you visit or make an enquire at f2f-alliance.org.

This Privacy Policy applies to all our sites (however accessed or used) whether via personal computers, mobile devices, or other technology (“Device”) and other interactive features, applications or downloads that are operated by us that are available through these websites and contain this Privacy Policy produced and maintained by us (collectively “Site”).

GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulations, (GDPR), apply to companies that are based in the EU and global companies that process personal data about individuals who are based in the EU. At the F2F Alliance, we shall ensure that we do not just observe the requirements of the GDPR for those Users based in the EU, but that we adopt the GDPR principles of transparency, control and accountability for all our users across the globe.

The GDPR gives our Users certain rights when using our Services, which include the right to:

We will collect personal information when you provide it to us, and only to the extent necessary to provide the product or service you requested or to carry out our internal administrative operations.

Additionally, when you subscribe to us, contact us or create an account on our Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, email address, birthday etc. We refer to this information as “Contact Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, Subscription Information and Contact Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We collect your Personal Data in a number of ways and for various purposes, including:

WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT OR INTERACT WITH OUR SERVICES

We collect Personal Data when you use or interact with our Services, including when you register for Membership with the F2F Alliance, purchase a Subscription (including the processing of payment). This Personal Data may include name, photo, username and password, email address, date of birth, gender, payment information and general location data. This falls under Processing your personal data: Necessary for the Performance of a Contract.

WHEN YOU COMMUNICATE WITH US OR SIGN UP FOR PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

We collect Personal Data when you communicate with us or sign up to receive promotional materials or information (“Messages”) via email and push notifications.

If you consent to receive Messages, we may use your Personal Data and other information to communicate with you about the F2F Alliance; provide you with promotional messages and personalised advertising; to notify you of other features, and other promotions (“Promotions”); to notify you of Services we think may be of interest to you; and, for other marketing purposes. 

Please note that regardless of your email settings, we may send you Messages pertaining to the performance of our Services, such as revision of our Terms or this Privacy Policy or other formal communications relating to Services you have purchased or use.

We may use your Personal Data to respond to and address your requests for technical support, questions or complaints about the Services, or any other communication you initiate. This includes accessing your account to address technical support requests.

DEVICE INFORMATION

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns)

The processing of your personal data by the F2F Alliance or a third party may be undertaken if we have a legitimate interest to do so. In our case this includes:

We share information within the F2F Alliance.

We share information on Social Media. Some of our Sites may include social media links such as Facebook. Finally, we don’t and won’t sell your personal information. We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION  

You agree that we have the right to share your personal information with:

  • Selected third parties including:

    • business partners, suppliers and subcontractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you;

    • analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of the Website;

  • We will disclose your personal information to third parties:

    • If we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

    • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our Terms of Use.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) by preference and wherever possible. From time to time personal data may be transferred, viewed and processed outside of the EEA. It will also be processed by staff operating inside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers outside of the EEA. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

The majority of our internal cloud services use industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) and have up-to-date security measures and protocols.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Website or via email; any transmission is at your own risk. 

Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

RETAINING AND DELETING YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

Anyone also has the right to request deletion of all their personal data a business holds, or modification of their data if it’s inaccurate or incomplete. GDPR requires the permanent removal or modification of any personal data. If you’d like your data permanently deleted or modified you can request to do so by emailing privacy@f2f-alliance.org, we will respond to your request within 30 days.

Your personal data shall not be kept for longer than is necessary, although it is not possible for us to always specify in advance how long this may be for. We may have to continue to store and process your data and also contact you directly relating to the completion of that service if it is necessary for our compliance with certain legal obligations.

If you request your data to be deleted and you fall into this category, we will let you know:

  • what data we’ll need to continue to hold

  • how we will process it

  • the instances we will need to contact you

  • when we can delete your data

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes. We will never disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. Our Website may, from time to time, contain links to and from the Website of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates.  If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

ACCESS TO INFORMATION 

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act and you can request access to the personal data we hold on you and verify the lawfulness of the processing.

You can request access to your personal data we hold by emailing privacy@f2f-alliance.org. We will respond to your request within 30 days and any data will be provided in a machine-readable format.
